On November 2nd, Eileen’s nephew, John O’Shea, ran the NYC Marathon in honor of her.
“This run is for her. This run is for everyone who’s battled cancer. And this run is for a future where precision medicine saves more lives.”

WHO WE ARE
The Eileen Fund supports new and ongoing research that advances the clinical application of precision medicine. Our fund will foster and support greater discovery in the evolving fields of genomic and proteomics and other cellular based trials to enhance and accelerate therapeutic options. Our focus is on malignancies, particularly among women, where standard therapies are not effective leading to a high percentage of women who continue to succumb to their cancer.
The Eileen Fund contributions benefit the John Theurer Cancer Center’s Research Division at Hackensack University Medical Center. In addition to cancer research, fundraising will also help fund Parkinson’s disease research and heart research. Your donation will help to save lives today, tomorrow, and in the future.
OUR RESEARCH
The Eileen Fund supports research into precision therapies that directly target the underlying causes of cancer, in order to cure it the first time and prevent its return in any form.
Through fundraising, education, and awareness campaigns, The Eileen Fund supports research into precision therapies that directly target the underlying causes of cancer and research new ways to strengthen our own immune systems to search and destroy cancer cells.
The era of precision medicine is here and its promise to change clinical outcomes for patients with advanced cancers is just beginning.
The Eileen Fund contributions will go to the John Theurer Cancer Center’s research division at Hackensack University Medical Center.
