  • HELP US DEFEAT CANCER

In Memoriam: Don Imus

Don Imus made an extraordinary difference in helping children with cancer. He worked closely with David and Alice Jurist to raise millions of dollars for the Tomorrows Children’s Fund.

Don and Deirdre Imus ran the Imus Ranch Foundation, donating to worthy causes helping children with cancer, autism and all the environmental health problems with our children. In addition to raising money for the Tomorrows Children’s Fund, they also raised money for CJ Foundation with SIDS and Imus Ranch Foundation.

As one of the largest donors to Hackensack University Medical Center, a seven-story, leading-edge facility was named in honor of Don Imus. The Don Imus WFAN building is home to the Institute for Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Reuten Clinic, New Jersey’s premier center for the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric cancer and blood disorders.

Thanks to the support of Don Imus, WFAN Radio and the Tomorrows Children’s Fund, the facility opened its doors in 1994.

Alice and David are forever grateful for his friendship and partnership throughout the years. He is sorely missed but his legacy lives on today through the work that David and Alice are doing with The Eileen Fund.
